About Me

I’m an author, speaker, trainer, former teacher and facilitator in the areas of well-being and Positive Psychology. Having spent over 30 years as a primary school teacher, I’m passionate about placing well-being at the heart of school life. For the past few years, promoting this has been my focus- through my books, media contributions, and training sessions.

I hold an M. Sc. in Applied Positive Psychology, the science of well-being, from the University of East London.

My books include Weaving Well-Being, a positive mental health programme for primary school children that is now in use in the majority of Irish Primary Schools, (recently launched in Australia!) and also Wired for Well-Being, a second-level programme which will be available from January 2020.

I design and deliver talks, training sessions and seminars to teachers and parents all
over the country, as well as the corporate sector.

Next on the list? Travelling to Australia in May 2020 to present at Hawker
Brownlow Education’s Thinking and Learning Conference:
